Interior design courses are also more extensive than the decorating courses. The course includes the basics of designs such as color and lighting, but it also includes business procedures, history of art and other subjects that are integral to the field of interior design.
Interior designs have different sectors and an interior designer may choose to go into industrial, retail, corporate or residential design. Today almost all of the commercial and corporate establishments hire interior designers to do their offices or shops. In shops interior designers manage the arrangement or display of merchandise. The job of the interior designers is to arrange the floors and rooms in proper orientation for the aesthetic pleasure and convenience of the public. In offices, interior designers ensures proper working environment for its entire staff. Their job includes space planning. In homes, interior designers ensure comfort and pleasure of its residents.
